The “Aria di Danza” association was founded by a group of close friends that set out to prove that folk-dancing was and is, something more than a bit of fun.
In fact in 2001 we deeply desired to take our love for this dancing into the town squares, arousing the public interest through our shows and animation and teaching them dances from all angels of the globe!
It didn’t take long, thanks to our love and skill for these dances, until we were spreading our musical message of joy and brotherhood on the wings of “Aria di danza”..

The Show:The Whirl….igig

What is meant by this? We all know that the whirligig is a toy common to children worldwide. It’s also a pun on the word whirl as it reflects who we are and what we do i.e whirling from one place to the other in search of new dances.

The dances:

We have chosen dances from regions all over Italy , many known others maybe not so well known but still danced even today at the local fests.
